Books, pdf or digital products

Hello,
I'm installing LiteCart 2.0.2 for my association.
We sell a few books and e-books (pdf).
I dont know how to store and sell theese pdf books.
Can someone help me?

No current addon. Is it that you want email delivery of a digital file, or grant the user download permission after the purchase?

I would like want a download permission after purchase.

Should the download require login or could guests pick up the download using a time limited ticket url?

The download should  require login.

Unlimited attempts to download while logged in?

I have considered support for digital products for a very long time. And maybe it's time to write an add-on or squeeze this in the platform.

If I was to create this as a commercial add-on. Would it be of interest? Or do you want to write this feature yourself?

I am unable to write it myself, a commercial add-on is a very good idea. I am interested.

In my case, after a purchase (and payment done and ok), I'd like to give access to a certificate of authenticity (.pdf) for each product.

Same here. File download after the payment has been confirmed.

I posted on another thread (which TiM may certainly remove as it's a duplicate) that I am very interested in this. If it is something TiM will pursue, great, if not, then I at least want to watch progress, if not, then build a solution myself.

Yes, a prototype is being worked on for LiteCart 2.3 or 3.0. But it's part of a bigger rewrite of the stock system. Timeframe 6-12 months.

I have to pause it time to time to attend to paid assignments.

Is there any update on this feature?  I am currently setting up a software site with all of the products being downloadable.

No sorry the work on 2.2 was delayed. I think we should create an add-on as a 2.3 or 3.0 will be a long wait.
