API to send purchase requests through Litecart

Wondering if this possible with a default install or some add-on? 

I am currently using the Stripe add-on for all my credit card processing and very much want to give my users a way to purchase products from my Android and iPhone apps. 

I'm hoping to use a Litecart API that will allow me to display items from my catalog, take credit card info and and then pass it through LiteCart/Stripe so that Litecart registers everything. 

Ideas?

I like the idea, and there is no web API currently. But you could easily build one using RESTful JSON.

Just use HTTP POST to send JSON data to a script that uses ctrl_order to create and save the order.
