How to Turn On Vacation Settings

Hi is there any straight forward way to post up a message on every page saying that the store is currently closed for vacation? Or does this have to go through email only?

I have never heard about an Add-on or the usage for this.
But if you want an clear Message for all Customers, that visit your Website, you can place a new HTML or PHP File, for example next to your Litecart index File and then redirect always to this.

I have a vqmod for putting out an important message on the site. It can be used for vacation notice. Other than that people use to put up a slide on the first page.

I only just noticed you attached an xml file in your message, yes I am a little slow :). I assume this is the vqmod? Now how do I install a vqmod? By the way the slide idea is fine and it will work for now but would be good to have the message show up on other pages also in the future.

Why can not I post in English anymore?

I tried to answer a copy in English, which automatically changed to French.

The cause of my yellow cards is a bad setting of my browser. In my defense, I thought that putting my browser in machine translation would only affect my own computer.
