alins Designer Alates Turkey Liige alates alins 8 dets 2022 22:05 I think it would be great to show customised product list for customer for ease of use. This could be a plugin as well. Maybe product filtering could be customised for this method. Can we create a filtering that consists of stages? For example; first step, choose your style (classic or sport...), second step, choose your colour (white or black... ) ... Show a custom list as a result. I think we can make the customer feel a little special with this method because the filtering on the category page is limited to that category.

chuck Merchant Alates Slovenia Liige alates chuck 24 veebr 2023 16:50 Yea I would want this, I sell videogames, if someone has PS5 I want first page to show only PS5 games and accessories. The logic I would use is this: track clicking on categories and write that to cookie After you have that information use it during search, first page promotions, maybe automatically preselect filter or category. If you want to go further then it gets more interesting. If you really want to show what the customer may want, you need a big database, and use information from other customers what they usually buy together, track what they are searching and match that to other purchases.
tim Founder Alates Sweden Liige alates tim 24 veebr 2023 22:24 Both cases in this thread would require unique solutions. I can't think of a universal way to do this. Indeed building up a database of a bunch of relational stats could be a lot of work. This might even need a whole factory of metrics and analytics. Also Purchased Products is already implemented. Cookies have size limits.
mmwfrank Developer Alates United States Liige alates mmwfrank 20 sept 2023 22:39 I'm currently working on an add-on for LiteCart, but I'm also learning the LC platform, so it might be a while, even though I'm thinking it's pretty close. Take a test drive or look at a (WIP) information page: Product Recommender Information Page I think it would be more impressive with more products, but I haven't even been able to get the .csv import to work properly yet. And I think a game recommender would be perfect. This add-on is based on a script written in 1998 for an industrial drill sharpener manufacturer. The marketing manager from that time now runs a website based on the script (https://selectsmart.com/categories/Video%20Games.html)
