Hello, I would like to ask why my site doesn't send to customers any email, although I tried both Gmail and Outlook smtp, thank you

use your server e-mail configuration to send e-mail.

Do you mean info@mydomain.com for example? And how to add my email to admin page? Same way? Thanks

Go to Admin -> Settings -> Email
Sent emails are logged in the database table lc_emails.

You are mixing up things ...
Go to you hosters login and go to the cpanel or Directadmin side. I do not know on ewich hoster you are...
There you can make your new e-mail info@yourwebsite.com
Here you get the SMTP username and SMTP password and the port number also

Then you go to the backend of LiteCart (admin side) And go to Admin -> Settings -> Email
Click on the pencil on the right of each setting and fill in the required seting.

Then you can take these settings also to  work on your outlook on pc and on your android / apple phone
Then you can see your orders in your phone.
Have fun in life :-)

Emails on the web can be very tricky. To send and recieve emails in your domain's name you need:

  • A domain
  • The domain name pointed to a nameserver that handles your domain configurations
  • A mailserver configured to serve the domain
  • A mail user account in the mail server so you can pass emails back and forth
  • MX servers set up so other servers can deliver emails to your mail server
  • An SPF record in your DNS for white listing your mailserver for sending emails in your domain's name
  • DKIM DNS record for certifying things were actually sent by you
(* Optionally a DMARC DNS record that tells other servers where to report suspicious email activity)

Your web host should be able to assist you with this.

After that you can configure LiteCart for SMTP delivery.

There are no shortcuts like opening Outlook and start sending emails for anonymous domains.
