List of files that are modified when new LC version is out

I am building a template on version 2.5.5, however since Im working on this version,
2.6.0 and 2.6.1 is out.

Is there a list somewhere that shows which files have been modified, at each version update?
Also if the MySQL database was modified or not? if so what exactly?

Im just scared to upgrade it as im.not sure which files will be overwriting loosing my work.
