Error message trying to disable countries

Just installed 2.2.3 looks great!

but get this error while trying to disable several countries. just one gives the same error

Notice: Undefined index: code in ~/includes/entities/ent_country.inc.php (Line 78)

Fatal error: 1054 - Unknown column 'code' in 'where clause' select id from koolzuurgasdetec_eis.lc_countries where ( code = '' or iso_code_1 = '660' or iso_code_2 = 'AI' or iso_code_2 = 'AIA' ) and id != 7 limit 1; in ~/includes/library/lib_database.inc.php (Line 254)
