Problems with updat to 2.5.2

Hello, I wanted to update to version 2.52, also copied everything to my server and called /install/upgrade.php.

But when I call my store I get this error message that tells me nothing:

What did I do wrong?

Did you have an error during upgrade? Otherwise it seems that you loaded the upgrade page but did not click the button upgrade on it.

Yes, of course I have pressed this button. I have just tried it again and then made the attached screenshots. It is irritating that 2.5.1 is still displayed there, although I have loaded 2.5.2.
A little further down 2.5.2. is displayed, but in the dashboard again not. I can't switch this to English either.

I don't know what else I can try to load images.
Turned off all addons, shortened the filenames, but the images are not uploadable (have only about 30-60 kB each).

From your image that's the installer for 2.5.1 you are running on 2.5.1. But your app_header could be 2.5.2 so I think there are mixed versions.
Download and do it again.

I have fetched the zip again and then copied all directories from the public_html into my directory (which is called "www" at the provider) incl. the index.php
Then called my site with /install.php and confirmed. Then deleted the install directory, but it remains with the same effect, nothing switchable and Admin shows 2.5.1.
Also the confirmation images at Install are the same as before or uploaded here.
I don't know what else to try, except to restore my backup from the day before yesterday.

Create a support ticket and I will do the upgrade for you.

The instructions are:

1. Upload the files (overwriting exisiting). Be aware if you have a renamed admin folder.
2. Open /install/upgrade.php and press the upgrade button.
3. Make sure no errors are shown and it's says upgrade successful.

Sorry, I think I'm too stupid to know what to do with this 😀.

I just did the support ticket with changed credentials as I really have no idea what to do with this crypto part.

So one or more files of your installation was still 2.5.1. When you uploaded 2.5.2 you either failed to overwrite the files. Or you have after the upgrade re-uploaded old versions.

I uploaded 2.5.2 and ran install/upgrade.php. Warnings are now gone.

Am just wondering about this small error with big effect in the app_header.inc.php since I moved all directories over with FileZilla and on my copy of 2.5.2 here on the computer it is entered correctly, not the error 2.5.1.
No idea why probably this file was not transferred.
This is also not one of the 3-4 files where I have changes / adjustments in it.

I never heard of anyone having trouble with FileZilla. Did you change any of the settings how to handle upload conflicts of existing files? Maybe just a plain reset of the software will help?

Consciously, I did not change anything in the FileZilla settings. For the mentioned problem, I don't even know how to adjust it. The only thing I tried occasionally on some connections when it didn't work (not on LC) was switching between active and passive mode.
I only learned from a comment of yours weeks ago that Filezilla takes care of itself during transfers, which files have to go where or are replaced (was described a bit differently by you). Before that, I always transferred each file individually when working with the program for caution, because I equated it with a file manager.
Btw: since on update my directory is not called public_html, I "pushed" the folders and the one file over individually. Could I avoid this if after unpacking the update I rename the folder public_html to my name "www" and then transfer completely?
