erin_bsw Merchant Nuo United States Narys nuo lapkr. 2023 erin_bsw 15 lapkr. 2023 19:17 Greetings! My business is based in Vermont, USA; in our state, there is a 6% sales tax, but in 23 of our towns and cities, this rate is 7% instead. The tax is "destination-based", and so I need to charge (and pay to the state) the increased rate if a customer takes possession of my merchandise in one of the 23 cities/towns (i.e., if my products are shipped to those cities/towns).Is there a way of automatically calculating the right amount based on the customer's shipping address? If there is not such a functionality in LiteCart, could someone more creative than I please recommend a way of dealing with this? Maybe charge everyone the 7%, and refund those who are not located in cities subject to the increased tax? (It seems hardly worth initiating a credit card refund for all these cases?)Thank you!

This is the reason why we added cities to geo zones.Admin -> Geo Zones -> Create New Geo Zone "Tax Zone for Town, XX"Make sure you configure the tax rate to apply to shipping address.
