Slettet Fra Ukjent des. 28 2021 03:18 p.m. Hi I'm completely new to e-commerce and don't quite undrestand the notions of "payment module" or "payment provider". I work with a belgian bank,l called KBC, they propose an online payment solution that doesn't sound the implementation of an extra module: "... The KBC Payment Button is a digital button on the payment page of your web shop. Your customers can pay for their purchase with just a few clicks or taps, on their smartphone or tablet or using the card and card reader. ..." Could someone explain me how do I link the webshop to my bank? If an extra module is necessary, what choice would be best for KBC. I also have customers who might want to pay with WePay or AliPay, how to include those payment options? Thx

Where you create a form submit button or link that holds an amount to pay and who is to receive it. For that you would need to create a payment module and pay extra attention to GET, or POST method returned by transfer(). You also need the bank to redirect the user to a return link. Use the verify() method to verify the payment. https://wiki.litecart.net/how_to_create_a_payment_module

If I understand well, banks provide modules from their side that don't use standard technologies and a module for Litecart need to be created for each type of bank module ?

They want market, so they try to go where there are the most customers. Every integration for every e-commerce platform is specific for that specific provider and that specific e-commerce platform. There is no universal fitting. See if a freelancer can help you out with a time budget of 10 h maybe.
