Newsletter - checkbox in checkout - how best?

I want to add a checkbox for subscribing to the newsletter.
How best to do it?

Add-on via vQmod will probably be enough ...

LiteCart 2.3 will have a new to collect newsleter recipients.
And a checkbox in the checkout will also be introduced.

Hi developer_cz - I need exactly what you describe. To add an optional checkbox in checkout to subscribe to newsletter. Please what can we do to achieve this? You have the vQmod? :P

Thanks Tim, but we run version 2.2.5. with some customizations and I'm afraid we can not upgrade to 2.3 anytime soon :)
