No more article options possible since version 2.5.2

Does anyone know why since 2.5.2 I can no longer add options to newly added articles?

Last week with version 2.5.1 I had no problems and could simply insert my predefined colors or lengths as selection boxes. Now none of this works, no matter what I try.

I don't know of any changes I would have made otherwise and my small changes to ~4 files so that I don't have any boxes (latest/similar/popular products) and social media signs on the front page, that are unnecessary for me, were already there before also in 2.5.1.

Are you talking about articles add-on? Or do you call products as articles? If you added a picture of what is wrong it would be easier to help you.

I had actually attached three pictures to the text, but once again it didn't work. I'll try again here now:

I that already about 2 weeks ago that it does not work with pictures. Then Tim did something and it went. Is probably gone again, this improvement.

I can confirm that 2.5.2 has a bug with attributes and options selection in product edit page.
Please wait until a fix is released.

Just uploaded a picture in another thread couple minutes ago. It works just fine.

OK it worked. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I tried to load three images before and this time two only.
Had it so similar many weeks ago once found that three always did not go, but then two.
However, the week before last week when Tim changed something, because no pictures went at all, three also worked without problems.

Since I would like to continue to fill my store, I have made all sorts of attempts today as to why I can no longer enter options. I have then, for example, in my Firefox 110 all addons turned off, also turned off various security settings (is normally on default), but everything does not help to be able to set options.
By the way, I try it easiest in the demo store.
But had to realize that it would work with the MS Edge or Brave, there I could admit to the ducks options.
Only I just do not understand the difference in this function with these different browsers, especially since it worked with FF until version 2.5.1.
Would be glad if I still get a tip where to look, because everything I know I tried off or on.

When I restored my backup from the last day before 2.5.2 worked, it showed error messages again and version 2.5.2 instead of 2.5.1 at the bottom.
I therefore downloaded the complete version 2.5.1 zip again and then uploaded the content of public-html to my account with Filezilla. Now 2.5.1 is displayed again, but a different error message like in the picture (hopefully the upload works). Where do I have to remove the version error so that I can work normally again?

You also need to restore MySQL database. Now it looks like you only uploaded files to FTP.

Thanks for the hint, I thought something like that.
There are a lot of older SQL databases named "dbxxxxx.gz" in my backups (both automatic and manual) but my knowledge is just not enough to bring one of them into my current store or to replace the 2.5.2 version.
