Dutch Nederlands language pack

Hai there,

Just discovered Litecart and I already love it. Especially the catalog-only mode; just what I was looking for. BUT.. is any busy with a Dutch, or as we call it Nederlands, language pack. I would be glad to have a go at it if not, but I need a bit of help. I've read the instructions on http://wiki.litecart.net/index.php?id=How_to_create_a_translation_pack but I'm stuck somewhere...

(aI)I want English to stay as admin language, but I need Dutch as store language. Is this taken care by :
Set as default language
x Set as store language

in the admin/languages/Edit Language?

(aII)How best to proceed I I only want to translate the storefront language?

(b)When I perform the scan in Admin >> Translations >> Scan I get this errormessage, what does this mean?

(c)What is the difference between translating via the ""Translation>CSV import/export"" method versus the Translation>Untranslated method versus ""Translation>Translations By Page""?

(d) when I export the csv file and open it in excel I get these code in the ""B till E -column"": weight:cost .. (I.e. 5:8.95 10:15.95 ..)
What do I do with this code?

There is no separate translations database for admin. The loving thing about LiteCart is we recycle translations so a title for example only have to be translated once if used in several places.

A1) Setting language as store langugage only indicates what language is spoken by you. Addons and background jobs may call this setting for creating reports or such. An administrator can easily swap language inside admin by clicking the flags.

A2) You can best perform a translation by Scanning your installation, then export a CSV/DSV/TSV that you edit with LibreOffice.

B) In your error report permisson was denied to read folder /home/knr7419/domains/megaplaza.nl/public_html/images/slides. Please make sure your paths have the right permissions and owner.

C) Exporting is for use with external software. While Translations > Untranslated is for quick editing inside admin.

D) Excel doesn't support your delimiter used for export. Please see http://wiki.litecart.net/doku.php?id=csv_formats and consider using LibreOffice.

A lock so it becomes private development and no one can contribute?

No, why? I am used on other fora that if a problem is solved orcquestion answered they lock this discussion. However still availble to read. And start something similar or new

I thought you meant a lock on the addon. As for forum threads we don't intend to lock them unless they are fed up.

The main reason to lock a discussion/ question when its solved that if it remains open someone could react on it i.e. one year later and never gets an answer or reaction.
