The posts are no longer in order

Hello,
When I access the forum and want to see the new topics, they are no longer in order and neither in bold when they are not read.
Is it only at my place or at your place too?

@laurentmaman  I'm having the same problems.

@tim  Have you considered switching the forum to phpBB?  I'm a big fan.  It's much more powerful and would give us a more control over our forum experience, e.g. better searching, unread messages, hot topics, emoji's, online status, BBcode, etc.  They just released version 3.3.0 which looks really nice.

@s22_tech I used phpBB 2 and 3 back in the days. Then moved to punBB. Then decided to write my own forum.

The part with unread forum threads in bold was backed by a cookie solution. I tossed it and will most likely introduce a server side solution in the future.

@laurentmaman The problem with "no longer in order" I haven't seen. What do you mean by no longer in order?

more in order means that the last messages in each category should arrive from top to bottom so that we can quickly detect them when we join the forum. I have the impression that they are mixed. That the most recent new message is not in its right place. (At the very top), and if I look at the dates of the messages, the dates are mixed.
In addition, unread messages should be in bold for convenience but, I do not know if it is my own browser playing tricks on me or if other members can confirm what I say?

@laurentmaman  It seems you're looking at the date under the Topic column.  They're actually sorted by the date under the Last Post column.

That's right, I'm looking at the date in the subject column. I'm used to this on other forums. Ok, on this forum I will look on the right the column last message. But that doesn't explain why unread messages are not in bold.

And what other forums? Name one. phpBB which is one of the most common one does it the same way as it's done on this site.

Ah, this time I just understood.
What I thought were new messages is simply new comments and that changes everything.
What deceived me is that I am a member of other forums and that there is a tab: "new messages". Here, no and it is not a criticism.
So sorry I understand the forum better. The messages are therefore well classified according to new comments.
