user7875 LiteCart Fan จาก United States เป็นสมาชิกตั้งแต่ พ.ค. 2020 user7875 17 พ.ค. 2020 20:32 This is a fresh install (ver 2.2.2) on a windows pc, being used to test the software. No matter what charset I set the database to, I ALWAYS get the following when accessing the admin panel Notice: Unknown charset for system locale (en_US.utf8) in ~/includes/library/lib_language.inc.php (Line 297) I did not select that char set "en_US.utf8" during installation and .... regardless of what I set it to (either in phpadmin, or Languages/Storage Encloding), the admin panel always gives the exact same error of: Notice: Unknown charset for system locale (en_US.utf8) in ~/includes/library/lib_language.inc.php (Line 297) I guess I could disable the NOTICES in php.ini but I would rather fix the issue. Any help would be appreciated. -pat-

I can go in to phpmyadmin, change the Collation to anything, and the error message remains the same. Ditto with changing via admin Language/Storage Encoding - changing it to anything always produces the exact same message. It's a localhost so unless we use something like TeamViewer (which I have no problem doing), you won't be able to view the issue. fyi: I installed Litecart by downloading from here, then unzipping, then using phpadmin to create the db, then running the install. Question: What part of the message makes you say that it is a Linux locale? -pat-
user7875 LiteCart Fan จาก United States เป็นสมาชิกตั้งแต่ พ.ค. 2020 user7875 17 พ.ค. 2020 23:59 I will try and attached three screenshots. Lite1.png - shows the error messages: Notice: Unknown charset for system locale (en_US.utf8) in ~/includes/library/lib_language.inc.php (Line 297) Lite2.png shows where I changed the charset to latin1_general_ci Lite3.png shows the reload after making the change to lati11_general_ci - you'll notice, it still has the exact same error message: Notice: Unknown charset for system locale (en_US.utf8) in ~/includes/library/lib_language.inc.php (Line 297)
user7875 LiteCart Fan จาก United States เป็นสมาชิกตั้งแต่ พ.ค. 2020 user7875 18 พ.ค. 2020 00:01 btw: I deleted everything and reinstalled the 2.2.3 version - the screen shots are from that version - the only dif in 2.2.2 is the line number of the issue

user7875 LiteCart Fan จาก United States เป็นสมาชิกตั้งแต่ พ.ค. 2020 user7875 18 พ.ค. 2020 01:23 I was trying to change it in the wrong place. I was not editing the Language, I was editing the Storage Encoding. I have it working now with english_United States en-US and en_us both produced the same error Looks like we are all good now. Thank you for the support
