Display custom Customer Number for customer

Anyone know if it is possible to get in so that you can enter a customer number for each customer that the customer sees when they are logged in?

Why not just output their ID?

because I have a customer number series I want to use.  I want to be able to write them so the customer sees them when the customer logs in to their customer account

I have entered customer in the code box but the customer does not see the numbers you write in that box.  I want the customer to see them when the customer logs in to their customer account

So you didn't try <?php echo customer::$data['code']; ?> in the view file? How did you think the information was going to be output if you don't add the code?
