Swedish as backend language

I have fresh installation 2.4 and I want to have swedish as store and admin language. I have choosen swedish as default in admin, but it continues with english. MySQL its set to utf8_swedish_ci? Help?

I´ve tried that, but Im to stupid I guess because I cant figure it out!! I have attached an image of what it looks like in Admin- Languages and please enlighten where or what to do.

Another question...if I dont want to have the sidebar in [u]any[/u] page and want to reararrange the images so they fill out the space. How do I do that?
Right now I dont have any sidebar on the mainpage and there´s an empty space to the right of the ducks. See attached image. And also:
I only want to have 4 ducks in a row on the main page, not like now with 5.
