List of enabled or disabled features in Maintenance mode

So, surfing through the platform I wondered which one of the features are enabled or disabled during Maintenance mode?

During maintenance mode there are no disabled features, just, if you visit the website from a different browser (from a browser where you are not log in as administrator) you will see nothing but a "Under Maintenance" note.

Ok, but to be more specific can a randomly created user (account) to order something from the shop while in maintenance just to test the ordering functionality or another custom feature? Because at my setup it's not possible nevertheless have 3 items already loaded in the database with price/sizes/etc. Shop domain is not active (paying hosting only for testing purposes)

yes, you can order as long as you use cash on delivery or bank transfer (mail in payment) as for debit/credit card payment or other third party payment systems you need the website not in maintenance mode.
The order must be place from the same browser where the admin AND the customer log in.

Cash on delivery was enabled by default by myself for this installation, but still not working (no button for making the order). Same browser is used for both accounts

Hello, I did not try cash on delivery but I did try with bank transfer (mail in payment) and it was OK.
Is there a part in that payment module that has to communicate with the website?

TESTING INSTALLATION through Softaculous, enabled on active domain, nothing changed except the duck product was deleted by myself and some standard settings for general test usage
