How to Proceed? Store finished, Ready for Payments and Shipping.

My store is nearly finished, I'll be ready to proceed to the next level soon, JUST NOT SURE WHAT IS NEEDED.

What do I need to finish and start processing payments and ship orders:
1) Payment mod?  (I saw a payment mod for $ from TIM, that's fine, what's involved?)
2) Shipping mod?
3) I'm thinking I want to use Stripe.
4) I haven't checked shipping rates with carriers like USPS, UPS yet.
    Not sure how to proceed with this matter...
    Any websites with this info?
5) Testing "Live"?
6) Anything I'm missing?

I didn't understand those numbered questions. To me they were not questions.
