Total of products in admin

I read about this subject in my search before I added this post.

  I also asked about this question in my post. "[b]What is the correct product setup in Catalog?[/b]"
But I didn't get an answer that solved my problem.
  In another of my posts ([b]How to adjust quantities for both color and size?[/b]), @tim said my "Stock" was correct using 2 attributes to add my products ([i]Next to last post[/i]).

[b]The Problem:[/b]
  I have many products that have 2 attributes attached to them in the "Stock" tab.
But the admin only shows the basic products, NOT including the attributes that are attached to them.
They each have a "Product code & an SKU", but they are NOT shown in the products total in the "Dashboard".

[b][i]Example:[/i][/b]
A product with 2 attributes.
1) Product
2) "Color" = 10
3) "Size" = 2

That's 20 variances for this 1 product.

There should be 620+ minimum, yet the "Dashboard" only shows 66.

[b]What I did to find the total quantity of my products:[/b]
I used the "CVS Import/Export" functions, tried every one, but this don't show all the product variances with attributes.

[b]Is this something that can be added to the Dashboard?[/b]
Add up all the items in the "Stock" tab and display that number in the "Dashboard"?

Also,
  Currently there is NO WAY to know how much "STOCK" I have for every variance of each product without physically selecting a product, and checking how many items are listed.

If sales were to start climbing, I would spend most of my time trying to figure out what my inventory was...

The dashboard does not show stock quantities. It shows how many products you are presenting in the catalog.

In a future version I am working on separating stock items from products. Enabling for better management. But it's been several drawbacks and I don't have a final version yet.
