Can someone make integration with Baselinker

I'm looking for someone who can do LiteCart integration with Baselinker.

One-sided integration is enough. The idea is for Baselinker to download orders from the Litecart store.

Two-sided is not needed.

It would be good if someone created an integration in the form of an add-on. Because I would have several people willing to migrate to Litecart.

I would have several people willing to migrate to Litecart.

Sounds good, but I need more than that. I need someone willing to cover my time if that claim doesn't check out.

Sorry for late reply, lot of work now.

I understand you Tim. You are totally right.

I have been testing Litecart for a year and the fascination with this software has not passed. This speed, ease of presenting offers in any language, simple editing of products and the fact that I have no problem with Google ads and SEO.

There are a few detailed functions missing for more efficient sales management, but your idea for Add-on and V-mode is brilliant.

You do not have to change the core files to add a specific function.

Plus the Litecart community. Lots of advantages.

The company I work for has 6 stores:

We work on 2 x Saas, 2 x Woocommerce, PrestaShop and one LiteCart and our offers are present on 4 marketplaces.

Software for collecting orders, handling shipments and invoices is essential.

80% of e-commerce sellers in Poland have the same issue.

I cannot promise or guarantee you more than 5-6 of our stores within 12 months. If we are to migrate, it will be after the construction season.

For a year now I have been trying to develop optimal store functions that fit the Polish market.

This mainly concerns

  • payment modules,
  • order processing automation (like baselinker),
  • advanced shipping module divided into groups (different products, different shipping costs)
  • editing products in a group.

I am omitting obvious functions like chat, analysis, ads, newsletter. It is very easy to implement with a tag manager.

I have almost all solutions developed

Dodo developed the advanced shipping module for me, but it still does not add tax to shipping costs. Dodo has made small corrections in the addition of group product editing available in Litecart, so I have that covered too.

I only miss after-sales service automation (baselinker) and integration with a Polish payment gateway, e.g. T-pay.
Stripe is ok, but Tpay is much cheaper, but for stores making sales of less than €25,000 it is not required.

I've written too much again...

The point is that I want to create a model store that I want to offer to those interested in e-commerce in Poland.
The expansion of the model store with new functions must be done through add-ons, so as not to disturb the core of the store.

I'm thinking about later updates, which you will definitely introduce, etc.

In simple words, I want to count the costs of the Litecart store with the functions it needs, add a rate for my work and offer it as the fastest fully functional store in Poland.

The LiteCart community will gain a lot of new members, freelancers will definitely benefit from this, people whom I convince to Litecart will definitely look for new functions in the form of add-ons.

I myself bought add-ons that I don't use or don't know what to do with them, like your Tim Rest Api add-on ;)
Of course, I have no intention of rebranding.

I simply see a great product and an opportunity to earn money.

If it's a great opportunity to earn more money I don't see the reason what's stopping you from investing in the development?
Someone here might be interested in putting paid work aside to do this commercial addon, but I will have to pass. There are so many addons I would have done over the years for all the promises I heard."This is gonna revolutionize things", "This is something everyone will want". Some addons where made, but the promises were unfortunately just empty words - they (still to date) haven't covered my time invested.

I thought that if the creator of Litecart himself came up with this integration, everything would work even 5 years later.
Buying a License as an add-on for a specific store also sounds good.
Only you know how and in which direction LiteCart will develop in the future :)

But you are right, developing the integration and selling it multiple times may be a better solution. Besides, the Integration should not change the LiteCart core files - which I really don't want.

And this integration is not an option to choose from, but a necessity for a store that has at least a dozen or so orders a day. I can't imagine working for a longer period of time without automating the sales stages.

Thanks Tim
It's good to seek advice from wise people.

It's possible I misunderstood what you wanted. I understood you need someone to engage in development but don't want to finance the hours? That you wanted aquire this as a commercial add-on, slowly raising crowd funding back to the developer? Are you saying you had some other financing situation in mind?

I see many users coming here wanting to make money using LiteCart and have ideas. But doesn't want to invest in developing them. Some find a way around the financing part, perhaps with duct tape. 🙂 My recommendation is, if financial investing in development is going to raise more income, or reduce spending (including your time). Then that's always going to be a well spent investment. Temporary use money to gain more money.

Let's say it saves you 2 h a day and your time expense is $50. Working 240 days a year, in 36 months that's up to $72,000 in saved time. Now you start seeing the value of your investment. What can you do with 1,500 h more free time?

Sorry I haven't replied for a long time. I was on vacation during which I promised my wife not to touch the computer or the internet in any way. I work too much.

I like optimizing activities. I thought it would be best if such an integration was created by someone who knows perfectly well in which direction Litecart development is heading.

In Poland we have a saying: Free is dead (sounds better in Polish because it rhymes).

I thought that if you do the integration and earn on the licenses sold, it will be ok. I don't know your expectations regarding the profitability of such an add-on. I also don't intend to lie to you that I will buy a thousand licenses, but I intend to work with Litecart as long as you and the community are involved in the development of this project. Besides, a lot has changed today.

In the company we have a saying that has become a motto.
Do it well or very well or don't do it at all.
It sounds better in Polish :D
I have been following this principle for 9 years because I don't like stress. And it works. Besides, nothing comes for free.

I have to implement this solution in our Liecart store because Baselinker is the core of e-commerce automation not only for me but for 80% of polish e-commerce.
And rewriting orders from LiteCart to Baselinker is asking for errors in the form of incorrect shipping data, omitting some important product, etc.

I just had a meeting with my boss. He asked me what concerns I have regarding the development of our stores on Litecart and how I see it in 3-5 years. He did not ask me what is good about Litecart, because he already knows that from the team that is currently working with the store set up on Litecart.

Finally, I showed my boss what financing I needed to get the model store ready. That is, a store that has all the necessary functions to facilitate order processing, mass editing of products, and support and automation of sales processes.

The model store will be replicated and then we will start migrating products and articles from the blog.
I'm anticipating the question: Don't worry, each store will always purchase a license for all add-ons that will be used in new stores.

The boss agree for financing and told me to present a strategy for Google Ads, social media ads and how I see the way to account for the work of influencers. To the last one I think I saw some kind of add-on in the Litecart store that allows you to create specific links and measure conversions.

I'm happy because it means that we're finishing the tests and we're starting to work seriously with Litecart.

I do not hide the fact that the company's goal coincides with my private one.

Sorry at this point I would be putting paid assignments aside to do something like this.
Did you talk to base.com and talk them into reaching out to LiteCart with a partnering offer? That could be a possibility also.

No Problem Tim I will handle with it.
Yes I spoke with them. They can do the integration, but they can't guarantee any support in the future. So it would be a solution for now and I have to reckon with the fact that if there are any problems after the store update, I'll have to do the integration again.

So this not an option.
