Smart search suggestions
Will let your customers find what products they are after. The original LiteCart search has some downsides that makes it hard for customers to find relevant search results, which this plugin is here to fix.

Some of my clients has a product assortment higher than 3000 products which obviously has introduced a lot of questions on how to fix the issue with baloney search results. 

This is what I eventually came up with, after alot of research on what the problem I was going to solve really was. 

The Smart search suggestions plugin will not just solve the issue for great assortments but of any size. It is just more obvious for bigger assortment.

By suggesting products to the customer during search, using a smart algorithm that makes fuzzy search and can handle misspells and other issues in a search string, customers will be able to find exactly what they are after. The smart search is driven by a hit scoring that separates bad hits from good ones.

The customer then clicks his/her alternative and a search for that exact string will help LiteCart search find the product, and products like it.

The Admin settings panel is not only highly configurable, but handles the searches in a smart way already out of the box. Depending on your needs and feel, you can control the outcome of looks, feel and hits from this panel. Remember to first install the plugin Cosmetic modules extender to enable these features.

The search is ofcourse also aware of Language, so that searches are relevant to the customer.

Download and install the free plugin Cosmetic modules extender to fully make use this plugin. Both this plugin and the CME plugin are ofcourse very easy to install. Just drag the files from within the downloaded zip-file to your LiteCart folder
