Why Can't I add error logs and cache files to .gitignore ?

I added the logs.log and cache folder but it still exist when I pushed files to Github Why ?

There are two files tracked in the cache folder. Otherwise they are all ignored by .gitignore.

Same goes for logs/ directory.
