Redirect to last visited page after changing language

When changing language, you will be redirected to index page. 
Wouldn't it be useful if you were referred back to the page you last viewed/visited?

Yes I agree. I haven't solved the decoding of $redirect_url yet. It must be passed through the routing rewrite system as it's language related. I might change a core component to make this conveniently possible.
