Category picker in admin shows a limited list

I try to adding a product to several categories but i only got a few listed? see picture.
It there a setting i have missed?
Under my category Epson Matrisskrivare/Färgband there are about 400 printers but i cant se then in the category window.

Any ideas?

Are they there hidden in the HTML? Or is the HTML simply cut off?

Oh wait there is a limit. Try removing "limit 20":

The browser may cache ajax requests. Is it the same in incognito mode?

tried Edge i Win11 ,chrome and opera with the same result.

Bumping this question, i know we found a solution but i cant find it?

Try grabbing catalog.app/categories.json.inc.php from 2.3.3
