Access denied for MySQL user upon install

Installation of Litecart does not succeed in any form at Freehosting.

With Softacuolus, the domain name does not appear, it cannot be installed.

The files are installed using FTP, but then the installer stops.

Please help what could be the problem.

You have provided the wrong credentials for the MySQL server or the user doesn't have access to the given database.
Consult your webhost if you are uncertain what your MySQL username and password is.

[i]Softaculous Remote[/i] does not know your websites, you must add them first.

If Softaculous is pre-integrated in your web host control panel you should be able to see your websites automatically.

I created a database file using MySQL Management. I had to enter the new username and password.

The database is ready, but the installation still stops (I gave it the database name, username and password).

I wrote to customer service, but they haven't answered anything yet...

Softaculous Remote cannot be used, simple registration is not enough.

I can also enter the database with the username and password I provided.

Try setting the hostname to 192.168.0.100 as from your screenshot.

The situation is unchanged.

These errors comes from the mysql server not allowing you access. Let's await what your web host has to say.

Sorry, I wrote the wrong message here.

LiteCart has been installed successfully. I suspect that I wrote a parameter in the previous attempts, I did not enter the name of the database correctly.

However, I have now encountered the same error (and others) with another service provider. Here I wanted to create a test environment so that I could not try the options and settings on the real (previous) system.

Here, however, I have no idea what the problem could be, because I paid attention to the parameters after learning from the previous ones.

What was the problem with MySQL?

It looks like you have a firewall forbidding outgoing HTTPS traffic. LiteCart attempted to go online to make sure it has the latest updates but the machine denied contact. You are ok though.

Did you upload the public_html folder as well? It's the contents in it that are intended to be uploaded, not the folder itself.

I can't change the firewall settings.

According to them, I did it wrong, because I copied it together with the public_html directory (the art directory next to it might have confused it).

However, the system does not allow access to the admin interface, the expiration date keeps increasing.

The public_html is rather an annoyance than a problem. I suggest taking a break and coming back with a clean fresh mind making a new attempt to reset your password. I have a feeling you are at a point when everything that can go wrong will go wrong.
