Simple Stock Count

Hi

My stock consists of donated items, so there is only ever one of each item, when it's sold it goes out of stock.

Each item's name is simply its unique number, so currently from 001 to 401.

They live in crates sorted by number, and this all works really well.

The only thing I can't seem to work out is how to get a simple stock check of how many pairs of boots I've got in stock.

This would simply be a count of every time that is currently in stock.

Can't see an add-in to do it, or anything in the forums, but I'm hoping with the above explanation it might be I'm missing something obvious?
