Install errors mysqli_real_connect

hello

i am trying to install litecard on a ubuntu 22.04 system.

i get the following:

Fatal error: Could not connect to database: 1698 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' in /var/www/html/includes/library/lib_database.inc.php on line 27

please let me know what i can do to fix?
