Upgrade the Google Analytics to GA4?

Anyone here been thinking of upgrading Google Analytics to GA4 using the Dual Tagging Process? 

How do you start to map the data?

Have anyone has done it already, who can share some insights?

Or is it enough to just setup GA4 via Google tag manager and can you see the events like added to cart or just simple conversions?

We started fresh using GA4 so, unfortunately, I can't speak intelligently about migrating from UA mappings.
