Is schema.org still relevant?

Hi Tim,

A long time ago (around 2010), when I went to fully customize a OSC 2.2 (oh ! this is in fact the same version number of litecart here...sign of fate ?), I had to modify the html of pages to include: FB open Graph : which seems to be done here in litecart, by default.

But I remember another one, that in fact, at this time, I did not exactly got the true benefits after applying them (at least it did not change anything in my Google's places) which is schema.org

Is this in 2019 something that should also be applied ?
Maybe it's quite obsolete and/or replaced by something else ?.

tim

Quite the opposite. Schema is very much something Google loves taking a bite of.

So it should be applied, right ?
Will it be in a future version (maybe a mod) ?

OH OKAYYYYY...:
I got it it's already done and I did not know.
I just noticed it because it is implemented another way (in a form of .js) that I used to know (html attributes)
<script type="application/ld+json">{"@context":"http://schema.org/"....
