How to remove the left column

hi Tim i want to remove from the left site , Search,recently views and Sign in, and give that body space to the slider... and kindly give me some web links that's using LiteCart to view how its look after modification...

To preview, simply right click and select inspect element. Then remove this element .

The files to edit are includes/templates/.catalog/pages/.inc.php.
