Admin doesn't keep the selected language

I've installed a new language pack, however I want the admin to remain English and the front the new language.
Whenever I'm in admin, if I change it back to English on the top, after the first click it changes back to the second language.

How can I correct this?

This is a downside with the 2.x version of LiteCart. It basically defaults to the root language defined. Version 3 has a new URL system for backend which solves this problem. Simply stay tuned.

is there any point of working on the 2.6.1 version since the 3.0 is coming out?
would 2.6.1 be able to upgrade to 3.0 or it will be a totally new system?
if so whats the launch date of the 3.0?

Sure, you are working on content, and 90% of the code will be compatible with 3.0. And don't underestimate the usability of using WinMerge to transfer lines of code from one file to another.

If you won't be going live in several months you can always wait for the first alpha and build directly on 3.0.

I would say go with 2.6.x now and transfer changes to a 3.0 possibly after summer. There will be bugs in the first months.
