Admin access to frontend in Maintenance mode not working.

In 2.4 I had admin access to the front end while in Maintenance mode. In 2.5 admin access to the front end does not seem to work unless i am missing something. Any ideas anyone?

Access to frontend when Developer Mode or Maintenance Mode is enabled only works if you are signed in to backend with the current browser session.

Can confirm I was logged in to the backend with maintenance mode and couldn't get past the maintenance mode screen in the font end
with the current browser session. However after clearing the browser cache it worked as it should.
