Is it possible to add the counter code in backend?

Hi
I need to insert the code for some counter, e.g. Statcounter.
Is it possible to do this in admin area?
Or it should be inserted in the code?

If it's client code like javascript you can insert it to your layout ~/includes/templates/layouts/default.inc.php
